Mostly anecdotal, but a majority of our peer institutions that I've been in contact with have either instituted vaccine mandates, implemented heavier remote work, or both

additionally, the Bio & Wildlife letter is something close to that John

If someone has a valid reason for not getting vaccinated, will they be offered the opportunity to work remotely if feasible?

Do we know the results of the volunteer attestation that the Chancellors office has been collecting?

Mathew — in the last OST meeting, it was shared that, for employees, the vaccination rates are roughly in line with the Borough’s vaccination rates.

There is a drawing I think for the vaccine attestation

The letter from the Bio and Wildlife faculty carries a lot of weight for me. I support a mandate for the university staff, because I know many other staff that are present here who feel strongly about it as well. I also think it's somewhat of a hypocrisy for our resident students, when we require that they get vaccinated, but don't have the same requirement for staff and faculty. That said, I'll make a motion to support the statements made in the Bio and Wildlife faculty letter
