I did find it interesting that there were a few out and out No responses to the remote work proposals. For example the requested changes to the remote worksite inspection regulations.

I believe UAS and the System Office Staff Councils each received $4,000 or $5,000 each.

for reference, the average survey response rate is 10-15% for a good response rate

I would assume COVID influenced that positively, leadership has really been pushing the "If you're sick stay home" plus we had the extra COVID emergency leave that helped costs

None of those compensation decisions will mean squat unless the legislature approves the money. That is incredibly frustrating and clouds what the future looks like.

Exactly, they'd have to advocate for us when it's time to create the budget, and if they don't then all the pretty words don't mean anything 🤷🏻‍♀️

re: effort to raise awareness of Staff Council- can we have some sort of open house where we not only introduce reps, but a short presentation that walks people thru structures at the U? that is a piece that I think is missing from onboarding, and a lot of things have changed, might be a good refresher for folks to see where units roll up to, who is on BOR and what their charge is etc.

(online open house obviously)
